About MMC

Mahajan Molasses Company is one of the Biggest Trader of Molasses & Food Grains and Transporter of Molasses & Ethanol in North India. We under take the Business of Trading of Molasses and Grains in three different firms out of which one is M/s Mahajan Molasses Company (MMC) which is a sole Proprietorship firm headed by Mr. Jatinder Gupta. In addition to this we had a private limited company namely M/s Ramkay Engineering Company Pvt Ltd Kapurthala. This company was established in the year 1964 and was engaged in Manufacturing and Marketing of different Electrical Items like Switch Gears under the brand name ”KAY” . Later on in the year 2014, we had taken over the said company which was not in operation since long . Now this company is undertaking it’s Business of Trading of Molasses & Grains and Transportation of Ethanol. The Company is now managed by Mr. Jatinder Gupta as Managing Director and Mr. Surinder Giri as Director along with the most Qualified and Experienced Staff.

All these three Ventures are known as one group namely MMC Group. The Business Activities of all these ventures are being managed from the Head Office at Kapurthala, Punjab. MMC Group have more than 40000 Mt Storage Capacity of Molasses in the different locations in Punjab and Haryana.
MMC Group have a fleet of more than 35 vehicles to transport Molasses and Ethanol. In addition to this, more than 200 vehicles are associated with Group. The Annual Turnover of all three ventures is about 16583 Lacs as per last Audited Balance Sheets of the MMC Group.
In order to Expend the Business Activities from Trading to Manufacturing, MMC Group had taken an initiative to revive the Original bus Businesses of M/s Ramkay Engineering Company Pvt Ltd, having factory site in Factory Area, Kapurthala and a New Private Limited Company under the Name and Style of M/s Iconic Biofuels Pvt Ltd, having office at Kapurthala , Punjab is also got Registered with The Registrar of Companies to undertake the Manufacturing and Marketing of ” Compressed Bio Gas” ( CBG) .In this regard the group had gone one step ahead in obtaining & securing Two Letters of Intents from the Central Government owned OMC namely Indian Oil Corporation .Out of which one is for Shahabad in Haryana and another one is for Khanna in Punjab.
According to these LOIs the Indian Oil Corporation had committed to procure the produced Compressed BioGas (CBG) for coming 30 years.
